PROJECT NOTES

Goal

Initialize a small round TFT display and render centered text from an ESP32 board.

Constraints

The setup used a GC9A01 display and an ESP32 DevKit-style board with manually defined SPI and control pins.

Process

I configured PlatformIO and TFT_eSPI and set the display pins explicitly. Debugging moved from a blank screen to vertical white lines while the ESP32 boot output remained available.

Result

A connected, partially responding display prototype; correct rendering was not yet confirmed in the documented work.
