3D-printed car speaker adapter ring
A custom speaker mounting adapter developed in SolveSpace, checked in Blender and prepared for an Ender 3 V3 SE.
Goal
Make an adapter that supports a 165 mm aftermarket speaker on a car door with a different mounting pattern.
Constraints
The adapter had to suit the door and speaker mounting points and withstand the mechanical demands of supporting a door speaker.
Process
I modeled the adapter in SolveSpace and brought it into Blender because direct export caused problems in slicing. In OrcaSlicer I investigated a geometry issue where the preview appeared to print at one Z height instead of building the expected thickness. I also assessed layer height, infill and printing speeds for a functional part.
Result
A printable adapter design went through CAD-to-slicer troubleshooting. The documented record does not yet confirm the final installed version or long-term fitment, so the entry stays in progress.
